- What is ColdFusion Builder public beta 2?
- Adobe ColdFusion Builder, previously known as "Bolt," is the highly anticipated first ColdFusion IDE from Adobe. It is an Eclipse based IDE for ColdFusion development and is deeply integrated with ColdFusion 9. The beta release provides a preview of the capabilities in ColdFusion Builder as well as the workflow between ColdFusion 9 and Flash Builder 4. Please provide feedback through the bug tracker and the beta forums.
- What is different between ColdFusion Builder public beta 1 and beta 2?
- Public Beta 2 includes many enhancements, fixes and performances improvements since public beta 1 was released.
- Where can I find out more about the features in ColdFusion Builder?

- I’m not familiar with Eclipse environments, how can I get started?

- When will the final version ColdFusion Builder be released?
- Adobe is not yet disclosing the final release date for ColdFusion Builder.
- How do I install ColdFusion Builder beta 2?
- You must first uninstall ColdFusion beta 1 then follow the instructions in the installation guide.
- When will the beta expire?
- When you install the public beta of ColdFusion Builder, the software will remain active until January 2010. Once the commercial version of ColdFusion Builder has shipped, you will need to uninstall the public beta and install the final version. The commercial released version will have a 60-day trial period so you can continue to evaluate the product.
- Can I work on my existing ColdFusion applications using the ColdFusion Builder beta release?
- Yes. ColdFusion Builder can be used to write applications for any release of ColdFusion; however, it only includes tag libraries for ColdFusion 7, 8 and 9 making some features available for only those releases.
- A beta version? I'll wait until the bugs are worked out, thanks....
- This public beta release is fairly close to what we expect to ship as the final version of the product. There has already been one public beta and several private alpha and beta releases with many hours of engineering effort.
- Are there additional downloads?
- Yes. The Labs site also provides downloads for Flash Builder 4, the next and rebranded release of Flex Builder.
