FAQ
- What is the goal of Community Help?
- Connect users with the best answers, resources, or code examples quickly.
- Enable all Adobe users to contribute to learning and support content.
- Improve content quality by sharing expertise across the Adobe community.
- Offer next generation tools for search and dynamic navigation.
- What are the goals of the Community Help AIR application beta?
- Feature design can only be perfected when users have had a chance to interact with and contribute feedback. We look forward to your valuable user input.
- I just want to access Adobe Help. Is that still available?
- Yes. You can access all existing Adobe Help content. Choose Help>product Help from any Adobe product and you will find the Help resources available for that product. You can also narrow search results in Community Help using search filters.
- I don’t want answers from everyone, just Adobe or select experts. How do I filter through all that information on the web?
- The Community search filter includes only sites that have been hand picked by a community product expert, narrowing the web down to a top tier set of resources. Search filters such as "Adobe.com" or "Local content" (which searches Adobe Help content you have downloaded to your computer) allow further control.
- Why Adobe AIR?
- Adobe AIR enables you to have your favorite web applications with you all the time. Because AIR applications run on your desktop, you can work offline. With Community Help, you can access Adobe Help content and code anytime, and enjoy updates to features and content without having to reinstall software. Learn more about Adobe AIR.
- Can I contribute to Community Help?
- Yes. We know Adobe isn’t the only expert on our products and technology. Submit code samples, tutorials, articles, or links to recommended content, and have them published in real time on Adobe.com. Learn more: Contribute to Community Help.
- Can I work offline?
- Yes. Unlike web based Help, Community Help lets you download Adobe Help content for just the products you want, so you can search and browse quickly offline.
