The Adobe® Flex® SDK is the foundation of Flex, providing the core Flex compilers, component library and debugger. Using only the free SDK and an IDE of your choice, you can build and deploy rich Flex applications. If you are using Adobe Flex Builder, the SDK is already included.
Here you will find occasional maintenance builds for the previously released Flex 2 SDK.
Move to Open Source Flex
As part of our commitment to provide transparency into the evolution of the Flex language and framework, in June 2007 we announced our decision to move Flex to an open source development model with the introduction of Flex 3. In February 2008 we released Flex 3 and moved its development to our open source site, opensource.adobe.com. You can visit that site for all future daily and milestone builds.
Using Flex Builder with Milestone or Nightly Builds
Adobe Flex Builder™ 3 enables the user to configure and select which SDK version to use during development. For most Flex SDK builds, we will try to recommend a preferred Flex Builder milestone release that should be used. Note: We are not able to support the use of nightly builds with Flex Builder 3.
Reporting Issues / Feedback / Comments
The Flex public bug system should be used to submit and review defects that you find in builds of the Flex SDK. You can file bugs for both Flex 2.0.1 and Flex 3 in the same system. The Flex public bug system is not an avenue for technical assistance or support.
Currently Available Nightly Builds
Please log bugs and feature requests using the Flex Public Bug system.
