The new Adobe® Flash® Media Encoder is designed to enable technical producers to capture audio and video while streaming it live to Flash Media Server (FMS) or the Flash Video Streaming Service (FVSS).
Welcome to the public beta release of the Flash Media Encoder. This document contains important release notes about this beta version. We encourage you to read these notes before working with the product. As a beta product, you may occasionally encounter issues with the product and/or with the delivery of the encoded streams, and should not use this beta product for production uses where quality and stability are paramount. That said, we encourage you to test the product out in real-world scenarios with your existing live broadcast equipment and give us feedback on your experiences. We will also be responding to customer feedback and look forward to hearing from you in the discussion forum to make this application the best it can be. Don’t forget to install the latest updater for your Flash Media Server. The updater (Flash Media Server 2.0.4) can be downloaded from Adobe.com.
