"Share" Preview Labs Edition is part of the Adobe Labs technology showcase and is not a final release. Technical support is not provided, other than the community forums. Share is provided in English, and intended for use in the United States. A personal backup of all shared content should be made as a safeguard.

The minimum system requirements for the Share beta are listed below.

Issues Addressed
The following are some important issues resolved with this release, including both bug fixes and enhancements.
- Safari 3.0: Now able to upload files to Share from Safari 3.0 on Leopard (OS X 10.5)
- Recipients no longer have to log in when accessing publicly shared files.
- Improvements made to the Flash preview of documents for rotated text, transparencies, and larger sized files
- Able to add/remove recipients from the details view
- Landscape documents now show in fit-page mode in the previewer.
Known Issues
- Files uploaded during a 2-day period (after 5:00pm PT on March 25, 2008 - 5:00pm PT on March 27, 2008) will not be present in your list of uploaded files in the new release. The work around is to re-upload the document(s). If you no have access to these documents, email us at share_beta@adobe.com and we will send them to you.
- E-mails sent when sharing a file do not have the same formatting as that in the message box in the Share workflow. The message content is not affected.
- SWF files already uploaded or newly uploaded to Share cannot be viewed in the previewer or embedded in external websites. You can download them and view them on the local desktop.
- File names containing accent characters cannot be uploaded and shared. Share Beta is currently only available in US-English.
- Search is not available for the following file types: Microsoft Powepoint, Microsoft Excel, Open Office Documents.
- Some Microsoft Powerpoint files containing large images may not display correctly in the preview.
- The Web Services API endpoint needs to be changed from adobe.com to acrobat.com (https://api.share.acrobat.com/webservices/index.do).
