OSX: Tilde in install path
If you try and install to local user path, the installer chokes. (i.e. '~/Applications') with "Unhandled exception ArgumentError: Error #2004" as shown here: screenshot1 screenshot2 notnotpeter 10:31, 1 Oct 2007 (PDT)
OSX: Move the window off the top of the screen
If you grab the lower half of top toolbar (which allows you to move the application window) and move your mouse to the top edge of the screen, the main AMP window moves up too far. Windows XP SP2: Offline
Not sure if this is addressed elsewhere or something I've not done right. But Adobe Media Player comes up as offline (when I'm online.) I am still using the debug version of Flash Player 8. Could that be causing a problem? Enric 00:39, 18, Oct 2007 (PDT)
BUG: Medial Player deletes locally saved episodes after arbitrary period.
I saved 20 episodes for the Learn Flex in a week, all were downloaded locally showing a CD ICON beside the files. I could watch them with my ethernet port disabled. I left Media Player for 2 hours, when I check, all episodes are gone. I have since downloaded the 20 episodes 4 times, each time a magical number of episodes are mysteriously deleted from the list of downloaded episodes. It makes no difference if you leave Media Player running continually, the same deleted behaviour occurs. Last try, I downloaded 20 episodes for a different show (Learn Flash), first time all were deleted after 2 hours, second download set, only 5 remain in m favourites list. This is a serious bug that surely must be putting undue pressure on the Adobe servers. Between myself and others we have posted this bug 7 times but not received any reply.
