I have a short question and would be happy to get any answer. I work on a project for university (AIR+Flash CS3) and read through as much information as I could gather on AIR.
But one thing I'm totally confused about. Is it possible to run an AIR app completely in the browser? I thought I've seen this somewhere on the web. But after a week of trying to get this work, I'm not so sure now.
I've modified the Adobe AIR Badge. It installs my application and also displays the launch-button when myApp.air is installed, but opens myApp in a new AIR window. But I want to run the whole app completely in the browser, using AIR only for getting access to the local file system and such things.
I was quite sure that I read on the Flash CS3+AIR dev guide that this might be possible. Am I wrong?
