jeremie14:45, 30 jan 2008 hi in the package for windows it's a .8li or we must a .8bli That true ? i don't understand why the plugin does'nt work. I use windows Xp Thanks to all
```` Hello,
I have downloaded and installed the plugin for CS3 Extended to perform Google Warehouse searches. I have installed the plugin as directed in PSCS3 Extended, running on WinXP x64, running on a Fusion partition on a MacBook Pro. The plug installs fine, and I can initiate a Warehouse search from the PS file menu, but I cannot complete a download.
After selecting a file to download, I get a PS error message saying it cannot complete the search because of a "program error," and the search aborts. If I try another search, it then crashes PS CS3 Extended.
Help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
UAC is off, but program still can't access files
My UAC is off -- I even have a little red shield up in the right corner of my taskbar warning me that my UAC is off. But Photoshop still can't access the Google 3D Warehouse -- it says that I need to turn UAC off.
- 1. I don't know why it needs UAC turned off in the first place. Photoshop itself doesn't care whether it's on or off. Google SketchUp where I created my model doesn't care whether it's on or off. I don't see why I should have to disable some of my computer's protections in order to use a plugin when both of the two programs that the plugin would seem designed to work with don't need those things disabled.
- 2. It is off. And it still doesn't work.Bart Humphries 01:07, 1 Oct 2008 (PDT)
Running on Vista with UAC on
For clarity, when you launch Photoshop CS3, you need to launch it with "Run as administrator" (right click for menu) for the plugin to run.
Wrong file in the zip folder for windows
Hello:
I download the Google 3D Warehouse plugin and when I open the zip file the Google 3D file was a .8LI instead of .8BI and putting it in the File Formats folder does nothing sense it has the wrong extension. The .8LI files are in the Automate Fold but putting it in there doesn't seem to work either. Is the wrong file in the zip file or do I need to put the .8LI file in a different loaction? Bold textItalic textLink title== Photoshop 3D plugin for Google 3D does not work ==
File format does not match rest of files in "File Formats" folder. The rest of the files are .8BI and the file contained in the .zip is a .8LI
In the Article under the windows instructions states: "4.Download the Photoshop CS3 Extended Plug-In for Google 3D Warehouse. There are two files: a plug-in file named Google3D.8BI and a read me file. "
This is false. the file is a .8LI file and DOESN'T WORK.
